UPSwing features the work of aerial choreographer/performers Cherie Carson, Jessica Ferris, Ashley Foster, Mindy Ha, Kiran Haithcox, Alissa Kaplan, Nadia Kayyali, Sana Noble, Theron Shaw, and Kate and Phil Weglarz.   • A Day of Health, A Day of Caring is a twelve hour day of yoga classes, meditation, chanting, dance performances and speakers on the issue of cervical cancer here and abroad. All the proceeds go directly to the National Cervical Cancer Coalition. The instructors include well known talent from the East Bay as well as invited guests from outside the area. Speakers at lunch will discuss local as well as international issues of cervical cancer.
  • This benefit will feature three dance works choreographed by Cherie Carson-including the two aerial dances "Kiting" and "Trikona" and a yoga/dance demonstration performed by Cherie Carson and Mark Pasley.

  • "Dress Up/ Dress Down" is a multi media performance presented in a gallery setting. This is collection of stories about the connections between clothing, the female body and self-image, the nature of women and their lives through the fantastical dresses they wear.

  • SoVoSo is a highly imaginative a cappella ensemble that sings a unique, rhythmic mix of jazz, gospel, world and R&B music, all rendered in their trademark improvisational style.
