STUDIO 12, 2525 Eighth St (between Dwight & Parker), Berkeley

Join us for an uplifting experience of sacred chant in the Sikh tradition with Shabd Master Prabhu Nam Kaur. Get your tickets early and save $$.

Naad Yoga is the ancient science of sound and its ability to transform matter and consciousness.  Within Naad Yoga is the practice of shabd expressed through kirtan (devotional singing).  In the Sikh tradition, kirtan derives from Shabd Guru, songs of God spoken or sung by saints and sages in ecstatic consciousness.  These songs and chants have the power to vibrate the mind, body and heart of the one who sings them into the same state of ecstasy from which the songs originally came.

Prabhu Nam Kaur has been a student of Shabd Guru for over 30 years.  She will lead you into the sound current and help you discover your own unique relationship with Naad.  Her album, 'Mother's Blessing', co-stars her famous daughter, Snatam Kaur, who she taught since birth. Co-hosted by Cherie (Siri Gian Kaur) and Yolanda (Pritam Hari Kaur)

      Music available through www.spiritvoyage.com
